What to expect
When you arrive, we will spend 30-45 minutes discussing exactly what hypnotherapy is, what it isn’t, what to expect when you are in hypnosis & how to make this experience work amazingly for you. Hypnosis works on everyone; you went into hypnosis last night before you were going asleep.
I normally spend about 10-15 minutes guiding you into hypnosis, then whilst in trance I will use several potent techniques that will help you make the changes you want automatic and effortless, to be free from nicotine.
I will personalise my suggestions specifically to you…because we all have our own reasons for wanting to no longer smoke positions cigarettes.
During the hypnosis session I will be speaking directly to your wonderful unconscious mind…this is where we store all our programmes, habits, beliefs and values. I can then remove the programmes that you no longer require and replace them with the healthier ones you now want.
In hypnosis, you will see yourself in the future as a happy, healthy non-smoker. This is something the unconscious mind will lock onto and make happen. Once it does this you will find your levels of motivation and determination rapidly increasing, it’s a great experience.
After you come out of hypnotherapy you will be free! Like leaving a prison, that you will never want to return to.

It is well known that hypnotherapy is THE most effective way to give up smoking. In the New Scientist article linked to, a meta-analysis suggested that people were five times more likely with hypnotherapy than any other treatment/technique.
You will only need one session of this potent form of hypnosis. The reasons why you smoke will be addressed at a subconscious level. Consciously you have probably said you will quit, but this wasn’t agreed with by your powerful subconscious mind. In our session we will together reprogrammed your subconscious, so it agrees with your conscious mind. This will then make quitting so much easier than you ever believed!
Quitting smoking is actually one of the easiest issues to work with under hypnosis.
No other method of smoking cessation works as well as hypnosis. According to a meta-analysis of over 633 different smoking cessation methods, hypnosis was rated as the most effective. (See the Journal of Applied Psychology, 1992)
Interestingly, this study also showed that the patch and gum are only a little more effective than cold turkey. Cold turkey came in at around 5% effectiveness rate, compared with 9% each for the patch and gum.
In fact, anything that we can tell the subconscious mind to stay away from, it seems to understand.
